what a great giveaway! I was just looking for a recipe including bananas, dates and chia and here you are! it’s funny, I just recently learned about chia because my yoga teacher’s actual first and middle names are Chia Seed and I’m building her a website where she wants to emphasize the goodness of chia. How cool is that?!

Hi! Why do I want Chia seeds? Well, besides my secret wish to own a complete collection of Chia Pets, I am in the process of changing my diet for health reasons. I’m moving to a low-GI diet, filling my pantry with hearty whole grains and fewer processed foods. I’m also giving up most dairy (it makes me kind of sick anyway) and chia seeds are an amazing source of calcium. I think they’d be a great way to make sure I am getting my vital nutrients.
